Mercurial Sparks - 2016
De Doelen commissioned me to create a piece of 7 minutes for Ensemble Klang. With Mercurial Sparks, I narrated the sweet-bitterness feeling of melancholy, when something we like needs to meet an end.
For this I first had an image of a pond made by liquid mercury and I transcribed into music.

Seconds of Fear - 2017 is a short opera for the Opera Forward Festival. The piece is about power and how power can change people. It is composed in a unique way, a challenging piece in Gibberish, where music and human sounds are the main narrative element.

Bringing heaven to homes - 2020. That was the overarching theme in this beautiful project. Together with a dancer we decided to livestream the Japanese Heart Sutra all around the world. A refreshment of calmness in the middle of the Covid period.
